Caleb Lawson purchased Price Concrete Studio in 2013, after a brief stint managing the company in late 2012. Chuck Price, the former owner, had developed a reputation for quality work, and a list of exclusive and high end clients. With little knowledge on the intricacies of working with concrete, Caleb sought training from The Concrete Countertop Institute.
Caleb and Jeff became friends over the years as Caleb was mentored by Jeff after completing CCI’s “Ultimate” training in 2013. In 2017, Caleb began assisting Jeff with CCI’s Ultimate classes. Ultimately (pun intended), he began hosting “Ultimate” at his studio in Orlando. In 2023, Caleb purchased part ownership in CCI, but with differences in leadership style and vision, Caleb and CCI parted ways in 2024.
Caleb has trained students alongside Jeff Girard as well as Buddy Rhodes, and works with clients such like Disney, Universal, Ritz Carlton, and Fiocchi Group in Miami’s High Society. Lawson Design recently completed a large scale project for Vespertine LA - a Michelin Star dining experience in Los Angeles’ renowned food scene. He has developed a reputation for quality, high end work in both commercial and residential project spaces. He has developed his own, sought after techniques for marbled concrete and blending bold pieces with precious metals.
