Virtual Baking Session

Do you have fond memories of baking with your mom, or maybe just licking the bowl after she puts the cookies in the oven? There are so many tools now that make it possible for us to do things together without being physically together. Why not plan a virtual baking session? Decide on a recipe, call her up, Pour your favorite drinks, get on your most ridiculous aprons and get to it! While your goodies are baking, you’ll have plenty of time to catch up and reflect on some of your favorite times you’ve shared together!

Zoom Brunch

It’s never been easy to find a good brunch spot on Mother’s Day. Reservations are full, and restaurants are all booked, wait times are endless! This year, have a zoom brunch in the safety of your home! Although there’s no substitute for really being together, skipping the hectic brunch rush this year is a small quarantine perk! I don’t know how big your family is, but you can have up to 100 people on a zoom call! You can even upload your own backgrounds. Want to look like your floating in space for the whole brunch call? No problem! The possibilities are endless. I’ve created these two zoom backgrounds for you in case you want to look like you’re hanging out with a giant fried egg, or literally on a brunch table. Download them and enjoy them. (Not sure how to upload a zoom background? Here’s a helpful guide

Send Something!

Send something! You may not be able to run to the store to pick something out, but you can still send a sweet note, or some small treats (if you’re able to pick something up on your essential grocery trips). Maybe you’re not able to send a physical letter or package, but now would be a great time to send a gift card to someplace you know she loves. Who doesn’t need a little retail therapy in their lives about now?

Have an idea we didn’t cover here? Drop it in the comments!
