Functional & Personal

We got the opportunity to create a custom conference table for Brianna Michelle Interior Design’s office! We get to partner up with Brianna from time to time to create custom pieces for her client’s and it’s always such an exciting collaboration, so we knew we wouldn’t want to miss out on getting to custom make a piece for her office!

The Plan

We got to work planning and laying the framework for the table .The plan was to make a table about thirteen feet long, that would be comprised of four different pieces. The four pieces will be made to look like two pieces when it’s all finished up. The assembly plan is a little complex and tedious so we’ll spare you the nitty gritty!

Concrete In Action

After laying down the groundwork, we sprayed on a thin layer of concrete that will later be polished and finished. Brianna came into the studio to check in on progress and add her own flair to the table! We picked out a good spot, and she added her handprint. We can’t wait to share the finished result, and we hope her personal connection to the piece will make for tons of productive and exciting days ahead.

Sweet Surrender

We have been loving collaborating on this piece and are so excited to finish it up for all the folks and Brianna Michelle Interior Design to enjoy! One of the main reasons we love working with concrete is the ability to create pieces with character and personality. Concrete is a profoundly personal medium. Beauty emerges out of something messy and uncertain and reminds us that sometimes it takes the courage to surrender to the mess to come out the other side with something genuine and heartfelt.

P.s. If you're looking for something for your office or business that's more than just a piece of furniture, something you can feel connected to and cherish, we'd love to hear from you and see how we can capture the heart of your business in one of our pieces.
