When we first saw this drink in PUNCHDRINK.com, we were slightly confused. I mean, it’s clear, it doesn’t look anything like a piña colada, but there was something about it, and we just needed to know for ourselves. The website claims this recipe takes all of the beachy summery elements of the original and transforms it into a drink you could sip by the fire. We were intrigued!

We took a look at the ingredient and instruction list and it definitely seemed like a lot of work for a drink. A cheese cloth? milk in a sauce pan?? But, we pressed on.

We gathered up the many needed ingredients and started the journey!

Here’s our mixture (pre-strain) taking the required 15 minute rest (what a diva) before it’s ready to be poured through the cheese cloth!

After mixing and straining the mixture through the cheese cloth, we had one pitcher full of pure golden liquid of the Gods! Time to give it the ole’ taste test!

It took only one sip to realize what all the fuss was about! This drink is heavenly. Not sure we could have predicted how good this would be, but as it turns out, the Piña Colada Milk Punch is definitely worth the trouble. Dig out that cheese cloth, and get to mixing!

What do you think? Ready to try it at home?? leave a drink you think we should try next in the comments!
