Rough Hewn Bathroom Vanity

We created a new concrete texture and finish just for this piece!

A client came to us wanting essentially a simulation of a huge piece of rough hewn stone as a bathroom vanity. It took a lot of time to figure out how to do this in a way that wouldn’t look contrived, but wouldn’t look hand made either. After some tests, we came up with a sample we were excited about! The photo on the left is a photo of rough hewn stone for reference, and on the right is our concrete texture sample.

After we figured out how to create the mold that would give us the effect we were looking for, it was time to cast the piece!

We loved the texture!! Our client was excited so it was time to seal up the vanity.

All sealed up! We were thrilled to work on this piece and happy than we can add rough-hewn concrete textures to our repertoire.
